Cymbopogon martinii - Palmarosa

Palmarosa belongs to a family Gramineae of tropical grass which is slender, and bearing panicles of a blue-white colour that matures to dark red. Its rich in aromatic, volatile oils, formerly known mostly under the generic name of Andropogon, but now included in the genus Cymbopogon. Closest related plants to this are lemongrass and citronella. It is originated from Central and North India, and now cultivated in different countries .
